Self-regulation and resilience: On the one hand the ability to regulate our feelings and impulses and not to let them overwhelm us. On the other hand, the ability to relax after tension, to overcome crises and to use them for personal development. Growing step by step into more psychological resilience and flexibility.

Our psyche and our body have inbuilt self-regulating powers. Mindfulness, breathing and relaxation exercises and body-based work can help us to regain access to our resources and thus to find a healthy balance of tension and relaxation in thinking and feeling.
